Prospero Health & Social Care is seeking O&G Senior House Officers to join a dynamic and supportive team at a hospital based in Rotorua. This is a fixed-term role from 19 January 2026 to 29 January 2027.

This role offers hands-on experience across Obstetrics and Gynaecology in a busy hospital environment. You’ll work closely with consultants and registrars, gaining exposure to a broad range of clinical scenarios and surgical procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care, including deliveries
Participate in gynaecology procedures and emergency cases under supervision
Manage high-acuity patients in a supportive, team-based setting
Engage with visiting specialists to expand your clinical knowledge
Provide care for both inpatient and outpatient cases
Full registration to practise in a comparable health system
Two years+ post-graduate experience with at least one year of O&G or related clinical experience
Eligibility to register with the Medical Council of New Zealand
