We are currently seeking a General Practitioner or Nurse Practitioner to provide locum cover at a modern, purpose-built clinic in the Canterbury region, supporting a well-established and highly efficient team.
This is an excellent opportunity for clinicians seeking flexible sessional work within a supportive, low-admin environment.
Availability
- Tuesdays and Fridays
- May – July (3-month period)
- Opportunity to extend into additional days (Monday–Friday) if desired
Hours
- 8:30am – 5:00pm
- Full-day or part-day cover considered
Role Details
- Clinical scope: General Practice
- Appointment times:
- 15-minute standard consults
- 30 minutes where required (based on nurse triage)
Remuneration
- Flexible / negotiable for the right candidate
Support & Team Structure
Work within a collaborative and well-supported environment:
- 1 x Medical Director (Fellow, vocationally registered)
- 1 x GPEP 2 Doctor
- 2 x Registered Nurses
- 2 x Administrative staff
Additionally, a virtual doctor manages all inbox and administrative tasks, allowing you to focus purely on patient care.
