About the Practice
This community-focused, nurse-led practice offers a genuinely different model of care—designed to improve access for patients and create a smooth, efficient experience for the whole team. All bookings are triaged directly by the GP, who is also the practice owner and clinical lead. This approach ensures urgent patients are seen immediately, and non-urgent cases are booked within the same week. You’ll be part of a close-knit, supportive team that includes two experienced nurses, working in an environment where collaboration is valued and patient care always comes first.

Your Role
You’ll be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring everything complies with relevant regulations and standards.
Working alongside other healthcare providers, you’ll ensure seamless, coordinated care for patients, helping them navigate their health journeys effectively.
Staying current with the latest research and advancements in medicine is a key part of the role, so you can continue providing evidence-based, high-quality care.
You’ll be diagnosing and treating a variety of conditions while managing long-term care for patients of all ages.
As part of the team, you'll regularly participate in meetings and professional development activities, always striving to improve patient outcomes and your own expertise.
What You Need
Current registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand (MCNZ) is preferred; however, applicants who are eligible for delegation will also be considered.
While a vocational scope is preferred, it’s not essential – we welcome applications from GPs with general registration.
Strong communication skills and a patient-centred approach are essential.
