Be at the forefront of acute patient care as part of a busy Emergency Department serving a diverse and growing community. This opportunity is suitable for both Senior House Officers and Registrars, offering exposure to a wide variety of presentations, the chance to build confidence in acute decision-making, and the support of an experienced multidisciplinary team in the Bay of Plenty.
The Opportunity
- Permanent, full-time position
- Work a rotating roster across a 24-hour Emergency Department service, including evenings, nights and weekends
- Assess and manage a broad range of acute and undifferentiated presentations
- Develop skills in emergency assessment, resuscitation and acute patient management
- Gain exposure to a varied caseload, including trauma, acute medicine and critically unwell patients
- Join a multidisciplinary team committed to high-quality patient care, education and professional development

About You
To be considered, you will:
- Be PGY2 or above
- Have previous Emergency Department experience
- Be eligible for registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand
- Demonstrate excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced clinical environment
- Be committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care
