An exciting opportunity is available for an Emergency Medicine Registrar to join a large regional hospital offering excellent clinical exposure, strong senior support, and a broad range of acute presentations.
This role is well suited to doctors looking to further develop their Emergency Medicine experience within a busy and supportive environment.
The Opportunity
- Permanent, full-time position
- Work a varied roster across a 24-hour Emergency Department service, including evenings, nights and weekends
- Join an established multidisciplinary team with a strong focus on education and professional development
- Gain exposure to a broad range of emergency presentations, including trauma, acute medicine and complex patient care
- Excellent opportunities to develop procedural skills, resuscitation experience and clinical decision-making
- Supportive senior clinicians and structured teaching opportunities
About You
To be considered, you will:
- Be PGY3 or above
- Have previous Emergency Department experience
- Be eligible for registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand
- Demonstrate strong communication and teamwork skills
- Be committed to delivering high-quality patient care
