The Opportunity

This position would suit an ACEM trainee or a PGY3+ doctor with Emergency Medicine or relevant acute care experience who is looking to further their development within a busy and diverse Emergency Department.

You will gain exposure to a broad range of presentations, from acute medical and surgical cases through to trauma and paediatrics, while working alongside a highly experienced team of Emergency Physicians committed to education and mentorship.

Training & Development

  • ACEM-accredited training time

The Department

The service provides secondary-level hospital care to a diverse population and manages a broad caseload, including:

  • Trauma
  • Acute medical presentations
  • Surgical emergencies
  • Paediatric patients
  • Minor illness and injury

The varied patient population provides excellent opportunities to develop clinical confidence, procedural skills, and experience managing complex presentations.
