Prospero Health & Social Care are currently working on behalf of a valued client within the aged care sector to appoint an experienced Clinical Manager based in the Bay of Plenty.
This is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing clinical operations, supporting nursing teams, maintaining compliance standards, and partnering closely with the Facility Manager to ensure both clinical and operational success across the service.
The successful candidate will play a hands-on leadership role focused on delivering safe, holistic and culturally appropriate care for residents and their families, whilst fostering a positive and high-performing team culture.
Key responsibilities include:
Overseeing clinical operations and ensuring best-practice resident care
Providing clinical supervision, leadership and support to nursing staff
Supporting care planning, implementation and clinical governance processes
Ensuring compliance with relevant aged care standards and policies
Partnering closely with the Facility Manager across operational and clinical matters
Acting as a resource person, mentor and educator to the wider clinical team
Supporting a culture focused on resident wellbeing, teamwork and continuous improvement
About you:
Registered Nurse with current New Zealand APC
Strong leadership experience within aged care or residential care settings
Confident managing clinical compliance, audits and quality processes
Able to lead, mentor and support multidisciplinary teams
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Passionate about delivering resident-centred and culturally safe care
