About the Role
Prospero Health & Social Care NZ is currently seeking a permanent Cath Lab Medical Radiation Technologist (MRT) to join a highly regarded hospital-based service in Hamilton. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of one of New Zealand’s best-equipped Cath Lab environments, with four dedicated labs and a highly experienced team.

What You’ll Be Doing
Performing a range of interventional procedures including angiography, PCI, pacemakers, EP/ablation, TAVI, PFO, and TESA
Utilising imaging tools such as IVUS, OCT, Shockwave, Orbital Atherectomy, and Rotablator
Working across 3 angiography labs and 1 EP/pacing lab
Operating Canon Alphenix systems (with 1 Philips lab, due for upgrade)
Participating in after-hours or weekend shifts as part of the 24/7 STEMI service roster
To Be Successful in This Role, You’ll Need
Current registration with the Medical Radiation Technologists Board (diagnostic scope)
At least 2 years' experience in a Cath Lab or interventional imaging setting
Strong technical ability and clinical confidence in high-acuity environments
A collaborative and adaptable approach, with a strong focus on patient-centred care
