Business Care Manager – Mount Wellington, Auckland
Privately Operated Aged Care Facility
We’re currently seeking an experienced Business Care Manager to join a privately operated aged care facility located in the heart of Mount Wellington. This is one of four facilities owned and operated by a well-established, family-run organisation that prides itself on providing high-quality, compassionate care.
Salary: $110,000 per annum + $50 weekly on-call allowance

Facility: 24-bed secured Dementia Unit set on peaceful ¾-acre landscaped grounds
Future Growth: In 18 months, a new secured dementia unit for younger residents will open (24 beds). At that stage, a Clinical Manager will be appointed, allowing the Business Care Manager to focus on staff oversight and non-clinical management.
Hours: Full-time, 7:00am – 3:00/4:00pm
Oversee day-to-day facility operations from a non-clinical perspective
Act as the sole Registered Nurse (RN) on-site
Lead and support a team of around 20 staff, including 15 trained Caregivers (all medication competent) and several non-clinical team members such as kitchen staff
Provide compassionate leadership and ensure high standards of care are maintained
Participate in the on-call roster (low volume of calls expected)
Current NZ RN Registration
Minimum 2 years of leadership experience within aged care or a similar setting
interRAI experience is desirable (training or refresher can be provided)
Knowledge of Ngā Paerewa Health and Disability Services Standards
Strong cultural understanding and commitment to the Treaty of Waitangi and Māori health outcomes
